Meet your hosts - Skip is not only a host, but the resident historian. He had the privilege of growing up at Five Points Lake Hamilton. He left to pursue a career, then returned to grow our cabin community. Shay is Skip's daughter who is now carrying on the family legacy. Their favorite part of being hosts is meeting all the wonderful guests who stay with us. They love hearing their stories and sharing the history of Five Points. Returning guests often feel like family over time. Many of our guests say that staying here is like experiencing another place and time. "There is no place like Five Points!"

When do the leaves change in Hot Springs?

The most popular question of the season! Hot Springs was voted #3 Best Fall Foliage Destination in the US by USA Today Readers two year's in a row, making it a popular spot for fall leaf peeping. While colors are dependent on rain fall and temperatures, Hot Springs typically experiences peak fall color arriving in late October to early November. Visitors can expect around a month and a half of colors on display, with a peak time of around two weeks.

Are your cabins right on the lake?

Yes, our cabins are spread out on a wooded hillside that slopes down to the lake. Our site map shows the location of each cabin in relation to the lake.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in 3PM or later Check-out by 12 Noon

Are you located close to attractions and restaurants?

Yes. We are 1 mile from Central Avenue (Highway 7) and Walmart, Oaklawn Racetrack & Casino is 2.7 miles, Hot Springs National Park/Downtown Hot Springs is 5 miles, Garvan Woodland Gardens, 8.7 miles, and Magic Springs Crystal Springs Theme/Water Park is 9 miles.

What is your pet policy?

We are pet friendly. Up to 3 pets are allowed. A pet fee will apply. Please leash your dogs whenever outside.

Do you provide breakfast?

Breakfast “Fixins" are provided. The refrigerator is stocked with milk, orange juice, eggs, bacon, English muffins, pastry, butter, and coffee for the coffee maker.

Do your vintage cabins have modern amenities?

Yes, the cabins are all updated for your comfort including central heat and air conditioning.

Do you have WiFi and Smart TV?

Yes, each cabin has WiFi and Roku TV.

Do you have a boat ramp and boat slips for guests?

Yes, plus boat slips are free for guests.

Do you rent boats?

No, but we can recommend a nearby Marina or a company that delivers kayaks directly to you here at Five Points Lake Hamilton.

Do you have a swimming area?

We have a lake swimming area adjacent to our large lakeside deck and gazebo.

Are your cabins non-smoking?

Yes, please smoke outside.
